EXPERIENCE

Mr. Cashman has 20 years experience in conflict resolution in both corporate and private sectors with a balance of 10 years in the corporate and 10 years in the private. In 1990 as Executive Director of the Mediation Center in Irvine California, Mr. Cashman was instrumental in developing the private non-profit agency into the second largest county dispute resolution program in the State of California. During his tenure as Executive Director, he also managed to successfully mediate hundreds of divorce cases ranging from simple to very complex. As the director of training for The Mediation Center, he trained over 1500 individuals in basic mediation skills.

Mr. Cashman started his private mediation practice in 1995, The Cashman Mediation Group, and has continued to grow his divorce mediation practice and to date has mediated over 600 cases and accumulated 4000 hours of direct divorce mediation experience. He serves clients primarily in Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

Coupled with his divorce mediation business is the training business that offers seminars in mediation process, facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills for effective problem solving. Some of his training clients include corporate giants Boeing and McDonnell Douglas, Colleges and High School districts, and the State of California Parks and Recreation.

Mr. Cashman is the author of six manuals on the subject of conflict resolution and mediation.
