Mediation Skills For Couples: "How to Win Without Ending up Losers"
Since 1990 I have mediated settlement agreements between couples who have decided that divorce is the only viable alternative for future peace and happiness. Also, during this time I have learned a great deal about why couples end up divorcing in the first place. Lack of ability and skill to effectively problem-solve and communicate clearly takes the top spot as one of the primary reasons people end up divorcing. This seminar is geared for couples who want to keep their relationship together and utilize new problem-solving skills to resolve their differences into agreements.
Couples will learn:
- Interest-based problem solving
- Crucial focused listening skills
- The "Art of Reframing" toxic language, emotional issues, and positional demands for effective communication
- How to talk it out and mediate issues
- The "Myths" of conflict
- Their conflict resolution style
- The power of questions
- The magic of choice
Note: Call for group and individual fee structures
